EEk! We move into NCSSM 2 days from now, and I still haven't finished packing.
I read 2 more pgs of the summer reading yesterday, which means I'm now on pg 14. That's not very good.
And I can't figure out what to wear to convocation, I'm scared I'll either dress too formal or too casual. So, I need help! What is everyone else wearing or what kind of clothes do people usually wear?
Ok, I have to go pack now. Bye!

On another note, I was a lurker at the NCSSM forums, and now they made them private. That saddens me. I tried to sign up like they said, but it wouldn't let me, oh well.
I'm tired, but I'm too lazy to get ready for bed.

I finally got my room assignment for NCSSM, I'll be in RE 109 and rooming with one of my friends from Monroe. Yay!
Anyways, I got my wisdom teeth taken out Tuesday, and I'm still in quite a bit of pain. My mom also let me know that I now resemble a hamster, I can't wait for the swelling to go down. :/

So, does anyone else think that travelocity completely got that roaming gnome idea from Amelie?
Speaking of which, that is a REALLY good movie, it's all viewtiful and happy. I heartily recommend it to everyone.
So, I've been wavering on my decision to go to NCSSM. Right now, I feel like going, but by tonight, that may change. I'm going to miss my family so much, and my friends, of course.
We all went out to see Spiderman 2 which was really good, even though it got a bit long at the end. But Spiderman's suit did get nice and ripped up, and he flashed a little thigh, (oh yeah!) so it was all good.

Whoa, I've totally been neglecting my journal.
I got a job, working at a summer school to teach kids English. I'm the teacher assistant of a pre-pre-k class, some of them are only 3! They're so cute. I have 2 weeks left at my job, and I'll be getting around $500 total, which is great.
Hmm...so, I think I just remembered why I haven't been updating, my life is insanely boring.
Anyways, I'm really tired right now, I like my job, but it is draining all my energy.
I'll probably update more tomorrow.

Hi, this is just my first post telling a bit about myself. I don't know anyone on this site, I don't think, so I'm looking for friends. Feel free to comment on my entries and/or add me to your friends list.
Anyways, I'm 16 and from somewhere around Charlotte, NC, I'll be going to the North Carolina School of Science and Math in the fall. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm really going to miss my family.
I'm a girl, and a somewhat shy one when I first meet people, but I warm up pretty fast. I'm hispanic, half Dominican and half Panamanian.
I lead a pretty tame life. My tastes in movies and music are pretty eclectic. My head is always in the clouds, and I'm known to have a bit of an obsession with hobbits.
Other stuff:
I had to look up the word 'eclectic' to make sure it meant what I thought it did. I'm still not sure I got it right, haha.
